Chromecast purchased
I expect it will mostly be used for Plex, NetFlix and BBC iPlayer, especially if we go away anywhere that has WiFi.
Plex seemed the neatest way for me to get content from my NAS to my TV. Unfortunately my Samsung BluRay Smart interface is way too clunky to use.
Netflix works nicely through my VirginMedia Tivo, but there's no way to select individual users.
BBC iPlayer, accessible through just about everything, and works well, especially with favourites accounts via the web interface.
Don't know how long it will take to arrive, but hopefully within the week. If playback of Plex content is still slow\jumpy, I might have to look at an improved machine for the Plex server (or smarter OS).

Dinner
On my own this evening so thought I'd make pie. I do like pie. This evenings filling: chicken, sweet potatoes, mushroom and onion (with a little chicken stock)... Tasty.
For the rest of the evening I shall mostly be watching Walking Dead with a beer. :-)
